After the lockdown and a little hiatus I found a new trainer who helped me through my first real cut. He pushed me to mend my relationship with food and showed me how to take my workouts to the next level. (@macrolabnutrition thank you for everything!!)
These days I focus mostly on showing up and giving all that I can for that day. I’ve never enjoyed lifting and find myself a little envious of those who find the gym to be their happy place or saving grace, to me it’s a job and the results are my paycheck. I look back at these pictures and I’m so proud of how far I’ve come and how I’ve been able to build a body I’ve dreamed about for so long. My relationship with food has never been better and that’s something I never dreamed would happen. -
Tiffany Nicole had a fast approaching wedding and needed to lose "10-15" pounds, and instead ended up losing 25 pounds in time for her gorgeous wedding!

When I got back from a deployment in December 2019, I remember getting back into the gym and dreading every workout. I had no energy, couldn't breathe, and felt weak. That's when my wife and I decided to hire a nutrition coach. I quickly realized that I wasn't eating enough, and immediately started seeing an improvement in my workout performance. I also felt sharper mentally. I hadn't noticed a physical change in my body until I looked at the before and after pictures. I added two pounds of lean muscle and no fat during my 12 weeks.

Before working with MacroLab Nutrition, I had no clue what my macros should be. I never tracked macros and just ate whenever and whatever was easy to grab. Mike Hebert came to us wanting to reduce fat and improve his CrossFit workouts. Twelve weeks later and 15 pounds lighter, he did just that! Mike works as a pipefitter, has a wonderful wife and two beautiful daughters, and still made time to improve his overall health by doing CrossFit 5 times a week and dialing in his diet. He is a great role model for all of those who are busy with work and family.

Cardo "Cody" Anderson reached out to us from Afghanistan, where he was stationed for six months during a 12-month deployment. Cody's goals were to reduce his body fat while maintaining muscle. As you can see, he did an awesome job! Food quality on base was poor, and I can honestly say as a coach, I've never had a client with notes that read, "My stress level is high, and I didn't sleep well because we took enemy fire last night."

I was a great example of someone who was not able to out-exercise a bad diet. Over the past few years, I noticed my weight slowly going up, and my performance at the gym decreasing. I got in contact with Macrolab Nutrition, and it has been extremely beneficial for my overall health and performance at the gym. Many nutrition programs take a cookie-cutter approach with their clients, but MacroLab individualized my plan to meet my goals. I could notice progress with the weekly check-ins and adjustments. I never wanted to track macros; the thought of it sounded tedious and awful. My goal was to lose a little bit of body fat, lean out, get better at bodyweight movements, and become stronger. In the process, I’ve my goals, but most importantly, I’ve become more confident in my skin. I have learned the importance of tracking what food I put into my body and how it affects your mood, performance, and energy levels. Macrolab has taught me a ton this past 12 weeks, and I’m excited to continue this journey and see what I can achieve in the years to come. I have been CrossFitting for almost three years, an athlete since I could walk, and now strictly OLY for four months.
